Transactions
π What is a Banking Transaction?β
In HelloMe, a Banking Transaction is a standard money transfer from one account to another.
It does not swap currencies β it simply moves money between accounts in the same currency.
Example:
- Sending Β£100 from HelloMeβs company account to a customerβs UK bank account.
- Paying a supplier in the same currency.
β How is it Different?β

|---|---|---|---|
| Normal Banking Transaction | Moves money between accounts | Same currency | Send Β£100 from HelloMe Limited to a customer |
| FX Transaction | Swaps currency | Converts from one currency to another | Change Β£100 GBP to USD |
| Remitter Transaction | Money sent by a remitter to a beneficiary | May involve banking + FX | Sender sends Β£100 GBP to Nigeria, system converts to NGN, then transfers |
