Manage Contacts

What It Is

The Manage Contact sub-module allows HelloMe Money admins to add and manage customer support contact details for each sending country.

This ensures customers in different countries can reach local support via phone or email easily, using the correct, region-specific contact information.

Why It Exists

  • βœ… Local Support: Allows customers in each country to contact local support, improving trust and ease of resolution.
  • βœ… Compliance: Many countries require local or region-specific customer support options for financial services.
  • βœ… Admin Control: Lets the admin team add, edit, or remove contact details as needed.
  • βœ… Frontend Display Control: Lets admins decide the order contacts appear to customers on the mobile/web app support pages.

What Admins Can Add

When adding a contact entry, admins fill in:

  • Sending Country*: The country from which the customer is sending money (e.g., UK, Nigeria).
  • Toll-Free Number*: A phone number customers can call for free.
  • Phone Number*: A standard phone line in case toll-free is unavailable.
  • Support Email*: An email address for customer support and escalations.
  • Display Order*: A number that controls the display order on the customer-facing page (lower numbers show first).

All fields with * are required to ensure customers always have complete contact details.

How It Appears to Admins

After adding, contact entries appear in a table for easy management:

FieldDescription
CountryThe sending country for this contact
Toll-FreeThe free-to-call support number (if available)
Phone NumberThe standard support phone line
Support EmailThe customer support email
Created ByThe admin user who added the contact
StatusShows if the contact is active or inactive
ActionOptions to edit or delete the entry

How It Connects to HelloMe Money

  • For Customers: Shows country-specific contacts on help pages, KYC failure messages, transaction issues, and error prompts, ensuring customers see the right local contact info instead of generic numbers.
  • For Compliance: Helps HelloMe Money comply with regulatory requirements for cross-border customer support.
  • For Internal Teams: Support and compliance staff can quickly check or share the correct contact details when handling tickets or escalations.
  • For Operations: Easily onboard new countries by adding their support contacts, or deactivate contacts if a line is outdated or a partnership ends.
